Wow, where did the summer go? I remember now in all the runs, parties, charities! And they all were a great time. Right off first we did really great with the Bike Time Campground, the guys really worked their tails off but all in all it was great. We made money this year and next year we are going to be greater, bigger, funner well you get my drift! Fenster and Big Worm and Val did a great job on the banners and the advertising, love you guys and a big THANK YOU to all who helped, worked and partied! Look out Bike Time, it looks like we are the campground!! Again, there are so many names and I can't take all the space to list them all so a Big Thank You to All!      This will come out for some in time and others real close to Fall Rodeo! The Abate Region 5 16th Annual Fall Rodeo on Sept 10-12th held at Twisting Trails Snowmobile Club at 5876 Ruprecht Rd. Twin Lake. I'm sure there will be a map on the web site for directions. Fun, games, burn out pit, Fire Show, Pig roast, and live music TOXXIC Fri & Sat nights. Known to be a good time for all bring family and friends, do some camping and have fun. NO KIDS AND NO(NO) DOGS!!! Gates open at 12am on Friday and Rodeo starts at 1pm. For more info like if you like to volunteer to help us out at the gate, products, membership or anything talk to any officer or there are contact numbers on the flyers that are out every where. See you all there!       I want to dwell a minute on something that's been on my mind. At a recent event I was at there was good size amount of members there and we all were in three different camping areas. I know that some of us don't smell to good or dance like a star. But I do think we should be together, show some unity! We are family and  we have to come together as one  and try to include ALL our brothers and sisters. Look back at all we've done together and all we have to do! So think about what I've said and like myself lets get all together and be a Abate Region 5.     It was brought up and the meeting that Bob and a few others made MOE, who is Boo's daughter a Honorary Member of Abate Region 5. Great job guys and welcome Moe ot Abate Region 5, we love girl!  Next we got the Toy Run, Oct 2nd 2010 at the Applebees Parking lot, now I heard there was going to be a car show at at the time of press my contact could not confirm or deny, but there will be food, or usual hot dogs and burgers for a donation that is going to the charity. Now remember Applebees is on Sherman out by Sams Club etc. The lunch will start at 11am and the ride leaves at 1pm. Remember to bring your non violent toy and $10. 00 donation for the ride. Hope to see you ALL there! Soon after all this we will be in the Xmas Party mode, but I will cover more on this in the next issue, but start making all those homemade gifts and finding the treasures that will help bring in the moola for our families. Fred will be in charge of getting the families etc. like he always does his bang up job and we love him!!     I know what your saying, please will somebody shut my mouth!!

Hey, can you believe it’s July! But boy have we had some fun!! I know that there are some of you that are going to say that this is a little point after, but as you know May was Motorcycle Awareness Month. And I was just wondering how many of you heard any of the radio ads promoting it and sponsored by Abate Region 5! I have to tell you I was so impressed and so proud to be a part of them. They were so classy and cool and great for all of us in the Region!! Thanks so much to Andy O’Reilly for making that happen for us. I know that there are some of you saying why bring it up now, but I never miss an opportunity to toot our horn and I didn’t get it in the last issue!

A big Thank you to all of you that were on and helped at the 18th Annual Blessing Poker Run. That’s all the card dealers and road captains! There were over a hundred bikes and plenty of riders. But I think my best part was when hours after the event Rand handed me a point’s sheet. I really think we got it going on and what a better way to Thank You all for all you do is by seeing that you get your points. Great job Rand!! It was a beautiful weekend and a great time!

There was a good show for Region 5 in support of the No Helmet Run to the Capital. They met at the K-Mart parking lot and went on as a group to meet up with other Regions and then on to the Capital. Great job to all that attended!! It’s always fun to go and meet the politicians in their working environment. And I don’t know about you but I love the chance to be in that great Capital building and all its splendor! Thanks to all of you that attended.

Bike Time Campground, boy there’s a lot to say. There were sign up sheets passed around the June meeting for helpers for Deb in Product and Chuck in Membership. There is also pre-registration for campers that want to get it done early and reserve their space. Remember all campers get to eat at the All You Can Eat Breakfast for $4 so there’s another plus. So come on members get your friends and family and help support the campground. We got in on the ground floor last year and this year is going to be so much closer and better! It’s going to be a great time and remember it’s all about Region 5 this year so let’s get in there and shine! I know I’m going to see you all there!!

A quick reminder to hope to see you all at the August Meeting and Membership party at Tina & George Edlunds, on August 7th The meeting will be Sunday around the usual time and there’s camping for the weekend. It’s a weekend event and known to be a great time and a good time to reach out to the Northern counties. And also to see if any us made it to the State Meet in Oil City, always a good time so I hope there were a few of you all there!

At the time this went to print I didn’t have anything on the Sandy Corley Run, but I know that Chuck from membership did a great job and Jon Brandt went as his helper and the guys will make us look good as always. And I hope that any of our members there stopped by to say HI and maybe give the guys a well needed break and maybe a cool drink. Thanks to all and a special hats off to this year representation for Region 5!!

I know I can hear you all saying, really loud this time, will somebody shut my mouth!
